I'm a double biologist (Fisheries Biologist and a Wildlife Biologist) .  You would think that handling tens of thousands of fish (collecting scales, weight, and length data) during spring, summer, and fall lake and stream sampling that last thing I would want to do is fish, but is there anything better!! ;D   And if all else fails I can Legally Electrofish!! ;D Oh, and I also ranch just a tad over 7,000 acres in my spare time ;)

Hey Terry- I could use your help!  :woot:

I create yards (landscape construction) during the summer and do my best to fish as much as possible during the winter.

  Duhhh, and I'm pluckin unemployed
Although this genuinely sucks, whats worse is that there's no ice to go putz on  :%$#!: But when I do work, and I'm digging my arse off right now to find wee little tasks, is that I'm a handyman (self-employed) (yeah, a jack of all trades master of none  :woot: ) I guess knowing a whole little about a whole lot, has me a bit on the confused side of what I want to be when I grow up (and I'm almost 43). I do mostly home improvement projects, and on occassion some marine application (living in the Great Lakes region, Lk. St. Clair currently, still a bummer they have not decided to name that one a great lake yet). The best part for last, is that I'm no salesman, so it is ironic that I am not able to persuade companies to buy my ideas for new or improved products. I can not afford the dog-gone patent application stuff grrrrr. I am a bit stymied that I have this gift I can not make a better living yet. Just keep a reasonable & positive outlook, that door will open for me at some point. Oh, almost forgot, gee I can write & draw too (more of a poet though) silly example: "roses are red, violets are green, I can hardly wait to get that girl out of her jeans"  .....For now awaiting winters return

Retired Logistics Management Specialist with Department of the Army.  Am now working part time as a contract employee at the same place due to lack of personnel because of all the deployments.  Made sure that it didn't interfere with my ice fishing though and I still have IS on all day on the task bar of my computer ::)

Worked in the fishing industry for about 12 years-retail, wholesale and tournament fishing. Spent the last 3 years employed as the general manager of a commercial office building. I get to fish and hang out on IS as much as my little heart desires. ;D

I am a 5th generation owner/operator (Logistics Manager and everything else ;))of a manufacturing company. We have been making farm equipment (harrows) for over 100 years and in the last 10 years have moved into contract work manufacturing. Anyone have a Heat-N-Glo fireplace? If so, we made the grate for the logs and possibly the decorative front and the doors. Also, if you have a H-N-G or Thermorite wood stove, we make the tubular blower unit that the fire sits on. Also make climbing devices for Meyers power poles. (Hurricane season was good for us :-\)

Has the rain a father?
Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
From whose womb comes the ice?
And the frost from heaven, who gives it birth?
By the breath of God ice is given and the broad waters are frozen.
The waters harden like stone and the surface of the deep is frozen.
