I have PM'd Doug (lonewolf) and he's right. I know for a fact that the time he spends organizing the tourney comes at the expense of time he could be putting on the ice fishing instead. He's put way more time into this than you can imagine, I'm not going to reiterate the list of things he told me he's done, but lets just say it's impressive and there is much more than meets the eye. He wants to keep the tourney fair for all, and if some entries get removed it's his call. Bottom line. What I'm doing here with the NY vs. ME vs. PA thing pales in comparison to what he has to deal with. In fact we are essentially using rules he created, and a thread that he moderates to just sort the entries out into these sub categories and then tally the points. Give Lonewolf and all the mods the respect they deserve for making this such a great site!

JW....why can't someone take a pic of themselves and a perch, FishingKing did it, I've done it. Its not particularly easy, but very possible to do.

It was there...lonewolf probably removed it as an "illegal" entry. When I do the updates here I look through the current entries, so I'll change this when I update again...probably sunday evening. Thanks again for pointing this out

Yeah its not easy took about 10 tries to get it right and then decided shoot i need ice in the picture so that was a couple more tries. I would of used the timer but the ice was very wet that day and didnt want to risk getting a $300 camera destroyed by the water, if i would of placed it somehwere close to the ice for the pic and I refuse too show backgrounds in any of my pictures that i post

I just want to mention that if I don't PM you about a removal it could be for a few reasons :

If I tried and your PM box is full and there is no e-mail addy in your profile ... this has happened with several entrants.

I may have been replying to PM's (a few dozen a day) and removed the entry and simply forgot.

If you went thru a 3rd party the message could have been misinterpreted.

Either way if I didn't notify you I apologize !

I know upstate has a big Crappie around 14.5 or so...I dunno when he's gonna post it....Ozzy has a nice pickerel, But I dunno If he took pics with his tourney card or not?..

We had a cold spell for the weekend, but temps are supposed to go right back into the upper 30's mid 40's with nights going to right at freezing or just below....not good for making ice....most of the ice around here is shot

well i wont agree its useless the sad thing is that i posted it i wouldnt have had to if i had ice to fish on now i check the site every 10 min on the weekends and 20 mins on the week days
