Are there big pike in the lake? Never been looking to go tomorrow hoping to find some big fish?

Fished Honeoye all day. 2.5”-4” of ice Wind picked up at about 11 and was warm all day. Left at 4pm and there was quite a bit of water starting to pool up on top of the ice. Bite was decent but not great

Yep don't go out tomorrow unless u like the polar plunge . A deer took the plunge today up the lake and wasn't good . O yeah 2.5 to 4in is right on . I left at 1pm and 1hit with the Spud hard and went thru . Rain and above freezing .. enough said !! Good luck 👍

How did you be up doing billygoat. We started ou fishing for perch and walleye caught a bunch of short perch and one worth keeping and one 13” walleye moves in shallow for bluegill and crappie at 1030 only put 2 keeper gills on the ice a rock bass and a nice largemouth on the tip up

Left the ice at 3:30. 47º in the parking lot. Water running and draining all over the ice. No way I'd be out there tomorrow. Did see the deer. Very sad.

Their site said they have staff on the ice till dark, will check again in the morning. Big rain on the way tonight.

Did ok, had to work for them that's for sure . Lots of sniffers . A tournament tomorrow on that ice with that weather would be the most stupidest thing I ever seen in my whole life. 30 to 50 people show up to them most of the time, if not more on nice days.

Fished Honeyoe today. Fishing tough. Only caught six keepers between the two of us. Found the fish but they where reluctant to bite. My two jumbo gills won the day. Thanks tickle stick.

Ditto on the tough bite. Most of the guys were in shallow, as were we, but a few brave souls had ventured past 15'. Not far past, though. Overall, the ice was worse than I'd expected. There was 3" of solid ice and maybe another inch of crap if you stretched it. No worries, but it's one of those years where you don't want to go running around willy-nilly.

Maybe if it's half the legal size then it's counted as half a fish.
Or a pike or pickerel hit it on the way in and was half the fish left.
