I would never fish inside the narrows I stay away from narrows and I would advise for the wise to stay out of the narrows also...but no one has to believe me Find out for yourself I don't preach ppl call me a flyer any ways...

Booooo,  I lost my spud there yesterday. Not to the bottom, but had just left it behind-right by the guard rail. If you find it, maybe we can meet up or something otherwise enjoy it!,

Never fished Otisco before. Looking to hit some new ice this weekend. Anyone care to share some info, access points, ice conditions, etc. Not looking for secret spots. Always wanted to fish it. Thanks

Bigal you stay down down on the whiskey point bs thread...by the way the chili was pretty good...now as to how the ice held up no idea but I'm fixen to find out Saturday...should be ok I hope..bigal you comming up Saturday always a good bet if you make it out there on the ice it's safe ice...

Just curious if anyone made it out onto the bay this morning. With all the snow, I doubt much ice is being made. Just want to know if it's safe. Thanks in advance.

3 to 3 1/2 inches with 8 inches of snow and slush not good if it stay above freezing unless it melts the snow and refreezes fishing was good

Hope the snow pack down got about a foot yesterday at my new place on south end of the lake. ...now if I get all these box's empty today  I'll have some time to fish

Fished Saturday with bigal and slaminsam  talked to fishslayer a little bit .easy walk out torched on the way off turned into a slophole managed 35 nice gills fishslayer left so I played around near his slophole for an hr I had 2 slab crappies before he got off the ice..managed another 7 I think I have better luck fishing other holes..im thinking that was my last trip out there I know the ice won't hold up another week with temps hitting high 50 s this week soooo I'm gonna get the kayak ready to get them crappie Bigal you never told me how you guys made out when I left the last I heard from you was that you guys were at the bar drinking a beer and eating chicken wings...  I seen on the news some bigal guy ate the bar out of chicken wings first time that happened...

It was done yesterday big guy..... I couldn't even get 5 feet of the bank. .....spud was going though in one easy wack all along shore n almost got wet again. ...definitely won't be long till we're boat fishing

i've been watching it grow ice!!!! narrows to dam been froze over for couple days stopped last night n not thick enough to step on yet!!! won't be long now!!!!!

I said I was going to Spafford before I stepped outside. Long driveways are nice the rest of the year but not today. Got it cleared but managed to snap the end off of one of my trucks wipers; I'm not going anywhere.
