where do you park to get on ice at evangola
Sturgeon Point or Hanover Town Launch, then walk a long, long ways or ride if you have a machine.

Stopped by at the Catt walked out on the break wall and ice looks smooth to the NE for a long ways. Can't wait to try it hopefully won't be long.

I parked in the Park's parking lot and entered the lake from the beach.

Would anyone want to have a rookie follow them out on the lake? Iv never fished out on the lake and would like to go/follow someone with experience, I keep hearing and reading about the big perch out there but have no idea where to start for them.

They have been out but that doesn't mean its safe my advise is bring it and if others are out there follow the path and don't stray to far from it with the machine use it to get to the perch grounds then bounce around on foot
