MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
Good morning to all. I guess a quick intro is in order and then I have a question. I am the lucky lady married to BlindSquirrel. I have been forced, I mean asked, to read many a post on this sight and have found that ice is in my veins. SO, I am now a new member to this wonderful place of ice chat. Here is my question about the gathering. I read through pages 1-5 and 14-17 and didn't see anything definite about a kids clinic. It was mentioned a lot in the earlier pages but perhaps the rest of the information is in the middle? Anyway, I have two kids that enjoy ice fishing with Daddy... and we are all planning on making it on the 18th. I would like to know if you are having a clinic, and if so do you need a Mom to help out? Do you need anything brought for it? I know, long winded, but I don't get to surf too often so I thought I would ask all the questions in one post. Thanks!
Not looking good for the 18th my friends!
If you do decide to go on with it or if you change the date, could you make a strip map or something to let us know how to get there? Is it for everyone, or am I just inviting myself? First I need to know where the lake is. Then how far and how long it takes to get there from the Watertown area. Jeffrey
oak,you can forget about march. i dont even think it would be possible to build enough during march if there isn t already enough by the end of feb for the party. myself i think the 18th looks very promising or at least the 25th, but i don t think any of our opinions are really worth crap as we have never experienced a weather pattern quite like this.i do find it very interesting if nothing elsekeep in touch, my friend.
Talked to a close firend that lives on the north end of the lake and can see the park on sunday, he said the lake had 3 foot whitecaps, not a shread of ice.
