thanks , all this run off sure has slowed things down the easy bite maybe over for a while in some spots , had a brain cramp was going but this rain is making me do my house work instead

That is a beaut of a fish Filet. Up until this year, I thought that eyes just don't grow big on Oneida. Man, was I wrong. Getting that beast through the hole must of been interesting!

Well this is the take for me last weekend. Wasn't half bad and did a lot better than expected. My buddies give me crap as to why I always make the drive up there. Well buddies this is why. HAHA keep playing with those

A lot of cold snowmelt coming in to the lake. especially fish crick, we went threw this last season remember, bite slowed til the runoff subsided..

I hit lewis last yr, did great ....a wall of runoff clouded it up and we kept trying to stay ahead of that wall of cold water to stay on the bite. we moved about 2 miles west every third day too stay ahead of it. Then came back too lewis in February and crushed em again.

Just got in was between Williams and the islands alot of water and fog. There is spots with about 4" water the ice still seems good but the water is draining into some pressure cracks which will open them up. Caught alot of 7-8" perch but biting really soft, got one 12". Probably done until it freezes, a few people out by the islands on four wheelers.

Heading out of the north pretty soon with 315angler to try our luck on the evening bite. Pretty much unchartered territory for us but I'm always optimistic!

The ice is holding up really good with this rain including the shore ice. It looks like freezing temps every night for a while.
