Mine is a slang word meaning fireman that originated in Boston Mass.  I'm a fulltime firefighter here in New Hampshire so I added the NH to the front of it.  Pretty simple but most people think it means my name is jake...........not so.  Bring on the ice!

At the time I had two Scottish Terriers thus 2 dogs but now I have three of the wee vermin but don't want to change my name and loose my status on here so will stick with old monicker.
Good thing about prisons- they reduce the potential number of fisherman on the ice!

its just a joke with a little sexual connotation to show that i really enjoy icefishing, and a crisp, cold, winter morning.

Indybogger because sometimes in Indy you gotta go through some mud to get to the ice with our temps during the winter.

I get paid to be a full time nerd, and I love to ice fish.......hence the name IceGeek, although on MFF and MHF I use Dr. IceGeek, just kept the IceGeek part so people on the other sites would realize I'm the same guy

I live in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and I fish all over.  My friends and I get together and we talk silly asn act stupid while were fishing.  One of my especially dim witted firends likes to say he "Feeches for feech", so I became FWFeecherman (Ft. Wayne Feecherman).  Seems to have stuck ever since.  Tight Lines and Screamin Drags to Ya!!!

after years of bashing ice fishing and them d**n fools that do it i had to give it a fair chance. stopped by a friends hut one day for quick "check it out", he hands me a pole, i catch a little trout, (though it felt like a big one), i say cool and leave. doesn't take long to find out that sneakers are not made for ice fishing. the next year comes around and i stop by his hut again, he hands me a pole, i catch a little trout, (though it feels like big one), i say cool and leave. it doesn't take long to find out that steeltoed work boots are not for ice fishing. the following year rolls around and this time i'm prepared, warm boots, warm clothes, belly full of hot breakfast, and my own ice rod, a few jigs, a bucket of minnows, and my new bright red auger. i go out on the lake just up the road from me and start drilling my first hole,(that was work),but thats ok i was warm. baited up, dropped it down, then hooked up on a nice trout, then did it again and again and again. beginners luck can be so cool. anyways it was all i needed to become hookedonice.  8)

Back years ago when I got my first 3 color flasher (Sitex FL5 1986) I needed to start using a rod and reel for deep water ice fishing that we were never able to fish before (atleast efficiently)...I built one out of an old rod blank and a wood and cork handle...On the handle of that rod I put GILLWACKER 1 with an ink pen after seeing how good it worked......So I used it as a  screen name because it brings back so many memories....(and yep, I still got the rod and it still "wacks" fish).......

Lobo literarely translated means a gray wolf but has for years comonly come to mean a lone wolf and since I almost always hunted and fished alone friends started calling my a Lobo.
Ross in Greenville, Mi.

God made the world 3/4 water and 1/4 land. So it's plain that he meant for us to fish 3/4 of the time and work 1/4 !
