Cant get people to pick up after themselves, does anyone think those people are going to abide by a limit? I have never kept a limit of bluegill in over 30 years of fishing, I could have but didn't see the sense of keeping that many. I would rather fish tomorrow and catch another dozen.  What if they close a body of water to pan fishing during the spawn, in areas where the gills are under populated? Wouldn't that help the numbers and size. (thinking out loud here)

I cleaned 75 gills once by myself a long time ago and without an electric knife... NEVER AGAIN!  btw there were 4 of us fishing.
When fishing with family or friends that don't fish much and they want to keep every nice one, I just have to say "HEY YOUR NOT THE ONE WHO HAS TO CLEAN THEM!!!" then they get the idea. 25 -30 between 2 or 3 people is plenty. I mean if you need the food that bad you could catch one 25" northern and get just as much meat.
