Day was cold -10 10-15 mph winds sky clear.had two pike rigs out 20 ft water 2ft off bottom three trout no flags all day till 3 pm  then flag up  thought wind flag  hole had half inch ice chiseled it out picked tip up up and wham fish on took half hour to get in  great fight what a rush monster was 40inches 18 lbs was using big sucker thanks guys for all the posts  oh ya rest of days catch was crapty 1 perch and 8-10 smelt Adk lakes rule

Nice fish.  Even recognize the spot too!  Fished there many times in my teens and early 20's.  Too bad you didn't get that one on a certain upcoming weekend... or do they not do that anymore up there?  Nice to hear there's still some trout around too.  Good to see a few quality pike still exist in there!

Very Nice Pike Drew!!  Haven't been able to target Pike in NH.  They are few and far between in this state.
