My kids and I had an absolute blast. I cant thank some of you enough. My oldest ended up winning the carving. He's still stoked about it! Big thanks to jake and his chainsaw weilding wife.
Big thanks to AJ454, hardwaternubie, and mikerudy for putting up prizes for the raffle. Most of which went to the little ones.
It was a pleasure meeting all of the new people I did and seeing everyone from last year.
We had a decent turnout of people. The fish... Not so much.
My kids and I each caught a slime dart, mike rudy caught some perch, and iceneck caught his 1st and 2nd laker ever. The fishing was tough, but we had the best conditions I've fished in all year. WAY too nice out to hammer em.
I'll get the pics I have up Monday. If any of you have some pics you want to put up. Feel free to get a thread going. I'll jump in when Iget to the "office" on Monday.

Definately a great time at the beach. Nice to meat all of you again or perhaps for the first time. Please excuse me if I forget your name, or cant match your screenname to your face next time I see or talk to you..lol Thanks again to those who donated gifts for raffle for the few kids. My daughter will be using that auger next year for sure. 3 HUGE accomplishments for Emily yesturday. She drilled her first hole, won her first auger, and after most of you left, landed 2 perch on tipups unnassisted. The sun went down and the flags started popping right where the slimers were taken..lol Oh, and come to think of it. Yesturday was emily's first WHOLE day of Ice fishing. so 4 huge accomplishments. Good times.

No Mike. My brother, uncles,and I were pretty much last off the ice. Dunno if anyone went back today.

I think Sunday was the better day to fish... I didn't have time to jig with the tipups going off. Had a great time talking with you guys and putting a face to the names!

So you fished on Sunday too! Were you in the same spot we fished the day before? Had a good time fishing with you. I'm done for the year. It's now time to start getting my boat rigged for Lake Champlain. God willing, see you all next winter.

awsome pics ... we had a great time out there ... even brought a few people along who have never been on the ice ...they didnt catch anything and said they wanted to go again ,,,, so it must of been pretty fun ... i dont think the gear is going away yet ... still got a couple weeks of voluntary layoff ... i hope
