I got 2 Black Betty combos, some PK lures, some Maki plastics and some J&S plastics. Now I just need some ice!!!!!!

I'm not sure what the thought processes are ("He's got everything he needs" or "Buying him icefishing stuff only encourages him to go", etc.), but no one ever gives me icefishing gear (or anything else outdoor -related, really).

Consequently, if I see something that I think that I need, I know that it's up to me to pull the trigger on it.

A new "long" rod for when the ice melts away and I also purchased a new Honda 35cc strikemaster auger. Sure wish santa had brought that

Anyone else cutting with the new Honda Strikemaster? Just tested it a few days ago that thing can cut some ice.
