Bino we got a total of 1 to 3 coming Sunday this week and next week there calling. For 3to 5 friday night and another 1to 3 saturday moring and temps as teens for the daily high and single digits for nightly high ..

Just checked river temp and it was 45.3*f in the st clair river so that means the lake surface temp is about the same?? In lake huron.. any how it is 32*f with a low of 25*f possible tonight..

The weather is cooling down and this board is heating up. Michigan sure does have some inconsistent weather from year to year

Currently 20 and windy here hope it keeps lakes open as we are supposed to get anywhere between 3-6". Don't want a inch of ice with that snow on it!! More on way Sunday. I see ponds skimmed in the area though. Never got over 22 here all day

We should get some ice real quick snow sunday with the river lake temps plumting now . River temp just got checked for st clair river it is 42.6*f from 47*f this snow is cooling it down! Local air temp is .25*f currently .. give it a few weeks we maybe on Erie and st clair!! Smaller in land lakes a tad quicker.. plus those single digits next week with lots of snow to follow..

over a ft of snow here.skim ice on lakes has that rotten slushy look.i don't think much ice will be made here in Allegan co.suppose to get more snow too.

Currently 26 in Kalamazoo, highs in just the teens here mid week with lows down to 4 degrees at night. thankfully my main ice fishing Lakes didn't build
Any skim ice last week so we should have a good start even with all this snow!

Thursday there calling for -1*f out here by me Iam out inbetween novi and lansing along i-96 . Current temp is 27*f it's going to be a good winter if you ask me!! Cause we're off to a great start..

15deg in Gville this morning...windy though, felt much colder. Silver Lake & Bostwick lake in Rockford were wide open yesterday if the wind would lay down I bet they lock up fast.
