Well I put some pics of it on facebook and a friend of a friend messaged me saying he had to have it, so I sold it to him

Love the flooring! I would like to do my whole garage floor with it but the welding and it wouldn't jive, and it would cost a small fortune.
Fish on!

Why did you go with a 6V system instead of 12V? Looks like an awesome shack man, really solid build!

Thanks for the comments everyone

Barn it isn't a 6V system, it's 2 6V wired in series, so it's actually a 12V system, there are advantages to doing so where hi cranking amps aren't needed, it's more efficient for long term loading and charging such as in an RV or and ice shack.  It can handle deeper amp loads for longer periods.

Oh that makes a lot more sense. I didn't think you were wiring them together when I first read it ha.

It's fully set up for a genset with a 45 watt Samlex charger, solar could also be used if desired. A small genset would run this thing like nothing. Amazingly that LED TV shows a draw of 0 watts on the inverter.

Okay, what do you build in real life?  ;-)

Well I build steel buildings for the industrial sector, the rest of it's for fun  ;)

The loft height is at 6' on an 8' wall, plus the 4:12 pitch, there is loads of room up there. It can be slept in or used as storage, there is a custom mattress up there. It's good to 500 lbs.

where did you get the siding? I used regular roofing metal, would this siding make a drastic weight loss for me?

It's actually not siding blackmer it's a double clad aluminum insulated panel. In fact the whole shack is insulated to R12. Stays nice and toasty with the propane heat.

I haven't taken it out on the lake yet but plan to do so soon!
