Odd ball Lake Trout I caught today on salmon eggs in 2 ft of water! I wear a size 12 boot... Laker was 26" Released after pic.

Thanks Tony, I made the mistake of trying to cross a pressure ridge years ago... and wont try it again, too unpredictable.
I was able to head to shore in a different direction and cut through the woods to my truck.

I figured you were good to go, you respect the ice and know what to watch out for ! Most people have never dealt with pressure ridges here, they are not that common and people don't realize what they are dealing with ! I know I sound like a broken record harping about being careful on the ice, but if it keeps just one person from going in the drink and they get home safe to their family, then it is all worth it ! Good luck this weekend Keith, I hope you and your Nephew get another Bow on the board !

I dunno, I caught my first pick this year....then another 8 one day...they're awfully fun!
If I get a big enough one I'll put on the youtube video to fillet along with...I hear they're tasty!
