I too had a wonderful time. Well worth the 2 hour drive. you guys that live close don't know what your missing. Special thanks goes out to slider this year for taking the brunt of the abuse. I learned this year to keep my mouth shut and stuff my face instead. Plenty of face-stuffings there. Thanks friends for a great afternoon. See you on the ice!

Here are a couple pics for ya. A good time was had by all. The fish was great. Hopefully, we'll be out on the ice soon. BTW, I picked up a new reel for the Ice rigger - Pflueger Micro. It's rigged and ready to go.
Friends?

Hello All

I enjoyed your company at the "Gathering".  Please post more pictures if you have them.  Whoever brought the Cheese Dip and the Cole Slaw, please post or PM me the recipe.  Information about February 12 will be posted soon.  Merry Christmas to all.

Hey all...It was great seeing all of younz guys again!!

upon request... here is the recipe for the slaw i brought
This is how i got the recipe...

 ingredients..1 large cabage
                  1 green pepper
                  1 red pepper
                  1 yellow pepper
                  1 large onion
                  3 cups of sugar
                  1 cup of vinegar
                  1 teaspoon black pepper
                  1 tablespoon salt
                  16 oz. yellow mustard
bring the vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to a boil...let it cool...add it to the cabage, onion and peppers...add the mustard   mix thoroughly  .. let set in fridge overnight..  mix again  .. ready to serve

I cut the sugar back to 2 cups .. and i just buy the bag of pre cut cabbage for slaw  3 pounds

Thanks for sharing the recipe Blaze Cammo. I know I will be making that often. Very tasty and goes great with fried fish.
NEVER lied about the size of the fish I caught.....just remember them being BIGGER!!
