How far is Westgrand from Calais? miles/time to drive? I cant commit myself due to my plow and sand contracts but if the weather is good I could stay in Calais I guess.

I have stayed at Canal Side twice new (the last two years). Very nice people, excellent location, and they have good bait. You guys won't regret staying there. They also rent sleds as well if you need one. I wish i could be garunteed the time off so i could commit to joining you guys. I love West Grand!!!

I'm in as well, fishingsurveyor maybe we can travel up together. Most definitely fishing next to Scalloper and Smeltslayer seeing they've fished the lake before. I've never fished it but I love to fish new places. Honestly the ride up to a new fishing location is the best part of the trip. Anticipation. How's that old song go?

I would say yes but we need to know how many sleds and/or 4 wheelers we are bringing. I might have a couple of guys going as well. We can have a convoy!
