Hey, just an FYI on Ice condition. on The west end the bridge WAS still mounted to solid ice, HOWEVER it has turned into a floating center, and by floating, your probably going to be stepping in about a foot of water standing on the bridge. past that, getting past the trees is most likely going to lead to someone going in the water, the ice getting from the bridge to the main opening of the access is very soft, and the ice going through the trees is EXTREMELY weak, so anyone who is thinking about trying for one more trip onto the ice, may want to consider going somewhere other than Box Butte
