Cats just like to chew cords.  Watch your stereo cables etc.

I ship to Canada with USPS when doing Ebay.  Of the big Carriers Usps seems to give me the least trouble with the portage fee's.  Printing a Customs form online saves most of the hassle of filling one out at the Post office. Have you tied  Ebay Ice Junky?

Yep, I did give ebay a shot, no luck.

I may have a line on one, just waiting to hear back. On another forum I posted my same issue, a rep from a company gave me a local contact to call, they are checking for stock and can ship 1-2 if they have it. fingers crossed.

I went digging last night and found the original ducer that came with my FL18, I thought it had sold at a yard sale this past summer, but lucky for me, it was still there. So I have something until I can get my hands on a tribeam

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish.

This reminds me of a similiar story, about 5 years ago i was getting ready to go ice fishing in the morning and i set my gear by the front door. when i woke up at 5:00 i found my fishing line strung thruout the house. My cat ( BAD BOY ) somehow found the ice jig and decided to take a bite out of it and found the hook! i had to take him to the emergency vet that opened at 6:00 on a Sunday which cost me about $150.00. To boot i didnt get to go fishing and the vet keep my jig!!!!! I still have that cat, i learned a lesson-keep your fear away from the animals! Walgill

Funny I just had to splice my camera cable back together on my Aqua Vue, if you can solder its not that hard to repair, smeared it rtv silicone and let it set up overnight put shrink wrap tubing over the wire first. Works like new now.

Can't blame the cat, it knows no better.  As far as the owner of the cat and vex, shoulda known better.  Or not had a cat.  Or kept the vex away from the cat.

down in Ohio we do not have much ice gear around so alot is mail order. I ordered some stuff from this company and even though it was not listed on his site he still got everything I needed. The company was www.northamericanoutdoors.net The stuff shipped from Minnesota to Ohio in like two days without issue. Like I said alot of places were out and they had what I needed

Had a cat that chewed through 2 of mine...and I can't blame the cat for either.

Took the first one to Radio Shack and said there was nothing they could do. So I ordered another one. Couple weeks later...chewed through that one, too. Ordered another one... :%$#!: (at me...not the cat)

I kept the 2nd one it chewed through, and after reading here on IS that guys were just splicing them back together, I tried it...and it workks...I now have a spare.

I just connected/spliced/wrapped as many wires as I could. Hit the connection with a little silicone...let it dry...then wrapped it with some quality electrical tape...works fine.

I've learned to take better care of it ,too ;D
