IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE STATE RECORD....STOP IN SPARKEY'S DOGHOUSE IN MT. SUMMIT INDIANA ON YOUR WAY TO OR FROM SUMMIT LAKE HAVE AN ICE COLD BEER AND A BREADED TENDERLOIN WHILE YOU ARE THERE. THE BULLGILL IS ON WALL BEHIND BAR.

Sparky's is the bomb. Super friendly lady that tends bar and good people that visit. Haven't tried the food but the beer is cold! The giant state record bluegill is a little tattered from years and years of being handed around but it still looks humongous!

My 12 year old and me were on one of the Greene-Sullivan pits last spring and he's looking over the side of the boat and says "DAD! There's a HUGE bass down there!" I look over and it's huge all right.  :o A HUGE redear! That thing was a freak. I dropped a redworm down to it but it darted into the deep and didn't come back.  :P

We did manage some decent ones, but these don't even compare to the one we saw.  ;)
