Mike, I fish Higgins and Houghton and ocassionally get up to Fletchers, Lake Avalon and McCormick.
Gonna try out Burt this season with a coworker.

I live in Berrien, but icefish mostly in Cass and Van Buren counties.  I usually make at least one trip to Saginaw bay for walleyes.

Sure does. If you won't show your face any other time of year ie: duck hunting/ deer hunting/ etc. at least come out and do some ice fishing! Putting the Bacon Shack II out next weekend. 6'x8'!

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.

So far of the 11,000 lakes in Michigan I've fished 5394 of them I think that leaves 5606 to fish,  at my age I think I'll just concentrate on the ones within 100 miles around Rose City,  that's just Ice fishing.

Dave,

Original home waters are Yankee Springs area lakes, but with a toddler and an infant most forays this winter will be around NE Kent county.  Mainly after gills, perch, and specks.
