Front yard strikes again..

Hate to see Jeff not get on any more fish then he did,I got a few more gills after the crappies,but nothing like yard has produced in the past...Was still a great time,weather was good and Great Christmas fishin trip.. JT

I had been using a marmooska for 2 weeks and just killinem,then one day,they let me down with NUTTIN.. JT

I gotta give props to WAX WORM,, a couple of pics from todays catch with HIS flies.. cant beat the color,not to mention the eye definatly hlps keep that thing horizontal,which is a definate advantage..

Looks like I gave you some with the 60 degree bend.  The 90 degree bend is even better for keeping the bait horizontal.  The next set will be 90's.  Glad the work as well down there as they do up here!

Question about the 'front yard'.....is it a bay off of a larger lake or a big pond / small lake that you are fishing?  Whatever it is, something is 'right' in there by the size of the fish you are pulling out of there.  Those crappies are huge and the gills and redear are above average in size too.

I met up with Hoosier again today to do some more Front Yard Fishin'.  He got out about 10AM and I got there at 2PM.  He had a couple of small ones and the fishing had been tough.  We fished until dark and ended up with a dozen and a half between us with just one Crappie.  (I had four of the dozen and a half.  LOL)  Here is a pic of my catch:



Didn't get any pictures of Hoosiers fish.

Absoutly jeff,glad to have ya get out with me. It was  slow morning on the yard.guessin north wind and this front gettin ready to move in had something to do with it.. I put some pics up tommorow of my fish,,JT
