Yes quite the post, makes you think thing out alittle better , hopefully before your in the water. Frist time I saw this post. I often wonder what I would do if I went in or one of my friends and most of them are older. I carry a good rope and hope you never need it. Great job Roger getting out, I sat next to you at the outing in Nov.

Got AA suit and auto inflate vest(now). In case coat is not on. I want to go again. Been through more than I wished. I don't fish moving water. I push the limits when it come to ice and feeder creeks. Weigh 250 and have learned the level &roll dance.
Scariest thing was some else going in not knowing what they would do.

Haven't posted much here anymore but this brings back memories , Great to have friends like this , I tell you what we fit like a glove when it comes to anything.. Glad i could be apart of this with you guys !

Most have no idea how this solidified and brought together, not just these guys in the video, but ALL our mutual friends together as an Ice fishing brotherhood. As a matter of fact, this actual brotherhood extends to EVERY PERSON IN THE GROVE. ALL of whom we are very proud and honored to call our Ice fishing Friends!

Many know this story and how this event has had direct connection to my actually having completed my Maine Registered Guide License (Tidewater), and being the holder of and actively using, my USCG Master Captains License. Unreal. reading this whole thread continues to humble me.
