I was out close to home today, and all we lost was the snow on top.  I had to wear my creepers for the first time since March.

That was a pond, and not the backwater of a big ol' river though.  Think it'll be safe for trucks this weekend?

Looking forward to getting out on the ice.  Only been out once so far. 

Are there any good bait shops along route 2?  I'll be coming from Shrewsbury (next to Worcester) and would like to try to get bait on the way there.

Can't really help you with shops on the way but once you get
here, Pipiones (sp?) Sport Shop is only about a mile and a half
away.  He opens at 7:00.  PM me if you don't work any thing
else out.

I'll be there.  GrizlyGarou will also.  He's already out fishing this morning.  We lost most of our snow cover, but the ice is still pretty good.  Its going to get slick when it refreezes.  The edges of some ponds have opened up, so be careful.

And don't forget, the power of stupid is greatly increased by the addition of the beer, so anything seems easy.

I'm still going!  MoreTroutPls had to back out due to some stuff, though.

I've got some trouts, a table and a hunting blind thing in case its too windy to cook. I'm also bringing a coffee percolator, so we'll be awake and warm!

I've been told I have to represent the family and get a pike, so I'll be concentrating really hard all day. Pike like it when you try really hard, right?

I've got an 8" hand auger and a spud. I'll bring them.   I have a propane BBQ I'm bringing, too.

I have an 8' FinBore as well that I'll bring.  I will
also have my two burner coleman with me.

I'm still planning on being there.  I will have a small grill that runs on 1 lb propane tanks and some BBQ chicken to grill up.  I also have a percolator to make coffee so we should be all set.

I have an 8" hand auger too.  I will try to be there by 6:30 or so.

I'll be in the black (or white with all the road salt on it) F-150 if you see me in the parking lot.   I'll have a blue gore-tex jacket on if you see me on the ice.
