This is one of my new favorite threads on iceshanty. Just read 8 pages about the progress of your bin shanty stumper. Really cool idea. Too bad all these bins around Iowa are full of corn....

Gotta a question for you. How many holes did you cut into the floor? How many do you normally have open?

Geeze I bet you put a becon on the top of this you'd have airliners landing next to you. Out this way someone would put a For Rent sign on it and have 3 families living their in less than a week.

All in all pretty cool. hope you get her off the ice without a problem too.

Worked out great, just pulled it to shore this morning. Waiting on the Hiway patrol to call me back for an over width permit and Im gong to load it up.

here in South Dakota we pile our corn on the ground and fish out of our bins

I've just read straight thru 9 pages (entire thread), laughed hard at a number of guys jokes, and loved seeing your pics of its progress getting built!

The sad thing is ,we had only a few small get togethers in the bin this yr.

It was a blast though!!! Actually though, there were alot more get togethers than I was part of, I passed out keys to a few select people and they made sure the partys were carried out often,lol. When we called Dominos pizza and asked if they would deliver to the bin, we didnt even have to give directions.LOL... Pretty sweet getting delivery right to the door,ON the lake!!
