someone is going to get smart and start making those kitty litter buckets taller and a little more heavy duty.

I couldn't be happier.

Lakewood Ice Pole Caddy.  It's a bit expensive ($90.00) but it beats busting up a couple St. Croix Legends!

I use Ready Rig cases. The Professional II i believe its called. Has a tube built in to pretect the rod and a padded area for the reels. Even has two fairly large gear storage compartments one either side of the "pouch". Easily fit two to three rods in a bag depending on length and reel size. They will accomadate a rod up to 34" in length. I carry 3 32" rod/reel combos in one of these cases. Each rod also has a Clam Rod Slick to keep the tips from tangling. They also make a "suit case" style case as i call it that will accomadate up to 6 rods or a few rods, tackle and tips ups. All depend on how you want to roll that day.

Great products.

This is the Best rod case I have seen and used, it comes in all different sizes so it works great for Ice Fishing or Open water fishing.

I use the HT Rod Locker:

I can fit three rods in there pretty easily and they have velcro straps to hold the rods in place.  The bag is also padded.  My only complaint is the lining inside of the bag is nylon and my jigs get snagged occasionally. However, for the price I have to say that I have been pretty pleased.
