Does anyone know a tackle shop that is carrying minnows right now? Any help would be appreciated.

Claytons on RT 611 by the willowgrove naval air station still has some med shiners and a bunch of fat heads in stock. The phone number is (215) 672-6060. He had meal worms in stock as well but no spikes or waxies at that time. Hope this helps.

I think Gary still has a bait vending machine at the gas station on the corner of furnace st. and 724. Terenchin's on Rt. 10 is closed till spring. There is always Kurtz's fish farm on Isabella Rd. near Struble lake.Kurtz is the best bait/best price.Call him to make sure he's there.

Gordon's in Eagle has fatheads, and medium shiners, some of which were nice and large. They don't open real early, so call before you go. I think 9 on Weekdays, 8AM on Weekends. They usually have wax worms and mealies, plus your ice tackle needs.

Up here in Allentown area never a shortage of minnows. Willy's Bait on rt. 329 Cementon Pa, or Coplay News Agency in Coplay Pa.  They all get their bait from a Wholesaler in Lehighton Area about 2 miles from Beltzville dam. BC Bait  Nice indoor facility has thousands of pounds of minnows at his peak, all sizes. crawfish in season any just about everything else, mealies, worms, etc. you'll have to buy by the pound though, but if ya go with 3 guys and kids like I do and them toothy critters are hungry a pound ain't much. And if you don't have a small koi pond or something else to hold them in long term, the trip up there probably isn't for you. He also packs them in bags with oxygen for transport. bc bait 861 Indian Hill Road Lehighton Pa. 610-377-5131.
