Ice fishing picking up all around

have been reading and listening to peoples reports all around, and it looks like this weekend is the hot time to go... might be able to catch limits this weekend, good luck

I'm heading out early Saturday morning for what will be my 11th time on the ice this year.  I'm hoping to do better than past trips tho.

Got out on my pond yesterday and today to try out my new electronics. Saw a few fish on the screen. About 5 inches of ice,  but the snow is creating a lot of slush on the pond. Hopefully I'll get to some lakes this weekend.

Looks like I will finally get a chance to hit the ice tomorrow ... FINALLY !!! I was starting to wonder if I would ever set foot on ice this winter with all the health issues with my folks. I have a somewhat small window here to take advantage of and right now, whether or not fish are biting really isn't as important as it normally is to me!

Oh yeah, If any of you guy's see the black Shappell DX3000 with a sign in the window that say's Lobes in the window, stop in and say howdy!
This weekend I'll be looking at hitting Townline (in northern Montcalm county), Crystal (in Montcalm county), or Halls (in Isabella county). I never know for sure until I'm there - always follow my gut at the last minute.

Wondered where you have been, fish are biting just fine, suck it up, you only have one Mom and Dad , I think of my Dad whenever I ice fish!
