frosty derby

any word on the frosty derby on st cathrine  getting ready to put shanty out  maybe next weekend  hows the ice  on st cathrine  last time i was on  it there was around 8 inches but that was on little lake  havnt ben out on  big lake

I HEARD FROM A BUDDY THAT DRIVES BUY THERE IN THE MORNINGS THAT THE BIG LAKE WAS GETTING FISHED, BUT DONT KNOW THE PARTICULARS. PROBABLY WORTH CHECKING OUT THOUGH. :tipup:

yea im thinking it should be  good ice on it by now  but i like a good 8 inches of ice befor i go out lol  i checked  fish and wild life web site and not to many turneys on the list yet

Frosty has moved to March like last year.  I was out last sunday and there was about 6" out on the main lake in front of the state park.

I didn't grow up in the area, moved here in 2000.  I still don't know too many locals.

I don't know, I'min Montana and it is awsome out here I don't know if i'm gona come back to ice fish this year or not we have been doing great with pearch and trout, i think we are going to go after some eyes and pike this week. I'll put some pictures up if we get some good ones.
