Hello Team Vermont!  I just moved up to East Dover this winter.  Anyone know where I can buy live bait in the Brattleboro area?  Anyone fishing the Retreat this weekend?

Spring Water Bait on Guilford Street Extension. I plan on fishing the Retreat tomorrow and probably sunday.

Hey gang ! I'm in northern VT., but I'll be visiting some relatives in Chester over the holidays and I was wondering if there was any reports of panfish being caught at The Retreat. I'm like to get into some of those big river gills and hopefully some crappie !

I havent witnessed all that many panfish being caught as of yet. I will give a report at the end of the weekend though.

Thanks for the heads up on the bait shop.  I went out on Saturday during the storm and jigged up 6 nice perch and a small pickerel.  Ice was about 5-6 inches.

I fished retreat meadows this weekend. I caught some good river perch and good bluegills. I saw a few small pike pulled out ,no big ones yet. Haven't caught any crappie yet. Good ice 8-9".
