a small group of us are heading to Regina beach for burbot/pike anyone else going to be there?

yeah i am, there should be a small group of us goin to beuna vista for pike,by the looks of things its gonna be nice so hopefully the females are roaming,then sunday off to the katepwa derby!.what do u drive saskman,good luck out there.

Im hoping to head out to lml this weekend on saturday and sunday. Just wondering how do you get to Buena Vista? Has anyone heard anything about Kinookimaw lately?

you can get on at Buena vista, they usualy have an ice road plowed in. if not, its a 2 minute drive from the boat launch

Out at the beach today...tourny was on, but didn't seem to affect the fishing. The sun was bright and warm...stood out iand tanned in short sleeves and my shell bibs. Still slow, our group got 4 burbot on tip ups placed about a foot off the bottom using medium minnows. Not much to be seen on the camera...couple tulibee and a couple more burbot. Only saving grace of the day was the 23 lb pike on a tip up early in the day. Lots of melt water running down the hill, so the spawn may start to pick up a bit in the next few days.
Maybe we'll have some better luck tomorrow. $:-\$

didnt get out that much this weekend, but when I did, i never missed so many fish in my life. My buddy got 1 burbot, and a pike. I got skunked, first time in a while, but we were out late last night and i missed at least five on the rod, and a whole whack of flags. Im going out today since I got so much OT hours banked from work, gonna try a new spot, so ill let you know. Saskman, that spot I mentioned to you has been pretty hot lately though, the fish are there, I just missed em.
