Thumb Lake aka. Lake louise

Has anyone out there ever fished Thumb Lake for splake?  Any info would be helpful.  I was planning on going last weekend but the snow was falling by the bucket full up that way.  I am still planning on giving it a try this year.

yeah went there smelting last saturday. take muck boots with you the crap is over your knees snow and slush. did horrible as well. >:(
