I happen to see a mad man chasing an Eskimo Shanty as it blew across Salmon Lake on Friday.  It was one of the funniest scenes i have ever seen, I laughed til it hurt.  I have no idea where that shanty ended up, but I know it was about 3 steps ahead of you the whole way.  C'mon, somebody confess. ;)

we ran smelt, NC's, and jigged some maggots with no success.  Slush was a little nuts.  High wind made it really nuts.  Only fished for a couple hours, managed some Kokanees though, (the kind in the 16oz can.) ;)
