It's got walleye and perch and probably some bass. Never fished it but it is one of the few inland lakes that has walleye. I hear some keepers are finally being caught regularly. There are special regs, check the VT Fish and Game book.

We fished there is August open water and caught one nice Walleye about 4 pounds.... Great looking piece of water, does anybody know if it is fishable yet??

Right click on someone elses tag, and save the image to your computer. You then have to upload the picture to a image hosting site like photobucket.com. From photobucket they will provide you will different links you can paste into your signature line within your profile.

I posted this under ice conditions earlier.  I live a few miles from Chittenden dam.
On the last day of rifle season the Chittenden dam hadnt even skimmed all the way over yet. That was two weeks ago. Since that time we have had warm windy weather and lots of snow up in chittenden. I would say after tonights storm with a least another foot of snow on top of the thin ice that there is no doubt that it is NOT SAFE!!

went and fished the res. yesterday. nice sunny morning, 40-50 degrees..... not much ice!!! 3" at best caught at least 60 perch jigging and easily could have limited out , but out of all the bait we had out in our group (8 guys) only 1 ligit flag that ended up with the fish wraping around a branch. all in all with the cold weather coming for the middle of the week should solidify most of the ice around our parts. gl tight lines!!

It is actually a limit of 2 Walleye per day on Chittenden Res, with a minimum length of 22 inches.
