Otter Creek
« on: Jan 05, 2009, 08:42 PM »
Got a nice mess of fish this afternoon at Otter. Got into the yellows and gills and had a blast. Caught 68 fish from noon to 5pm. Brought home 15 yellows, eight gills and two small crappies two old farts left on the ice to die--jerks!

Yes it is north and a bit east of Tama. I would start on the west bank--there is brush in deep water. Also, don't be afraid to get shallow--fish are holding in close to the bank this year.

Steve--I am guessing you heard that report a couple times! Catfish will be soon, maybe you can get over there with me.
