KILLZONE Ice Shanties?
« on: Dec 22, 2008, 09:25 AM »
I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge/experience with "Killzone Igloo" ice shanties.  I was thinking of buying one online but don't know much about them.  Any info would be great!!

I didn't find any web-site either, except for the item on Ebay.  That's why I'm wondering if anyone has used one of these before.  It looks like a good shanty for a good price, but I wonder what the quality of the product is. ???

I only found it on eBay as well... If I can't find a company properly represented on a website, I simply don't deal with them.  It's almost 2009 folks, that thing has to be either a rebadge or just plain Chinese crap... I say stick with something made proudy in a snowy country  ;D

wieght at only 19lbs seems off. maybe cheaper materials than the Ice Cubes or Quickfish. I'd be careful.

Well the eskimo quickfish 2 weighs 18lbs and is made in China, so that is comparable.  Still, I'm thinking it's not worth the risk...I'm probably going spend an extra $50 and get something with a better reputation.
