lake louise?

I wanted to see if anyone wanted to fish lake louise this coming wed or thursday? I've never fished it myself but grew up fishin lakers in California, so I'm starting to get the itch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was there on friday and saturday 12 inchs of ice with 2 inchs snow everywhere.caught 5 burbot and 5 lakers nothing real big 8 lbs maybe.

Three of us are headed that way bright and early in the morning. I will report back with ice conditions and if we catch anything. First time fishing the lake so it should be a new experience.

yes we did, Iced, Troutsman, and myself did a suicide run there friday morning. Dave caught a very nice fish 15 minutes into fishing. I bet you will see it on here. He released it and we estimated it was close to 18 pounds. Only fish we caught but it was still a fun trip.

you know frydaddy i almost got the notion to.......it being the same distance as hidden lake in kenai, almost........but finally after i could find no one to ride up with me, ive settled on big lake today......tight lines

Was just wondering how you fared today jkw?  It was colder than hell out there.  :o  thank god for fishhouses and heaters.   :tipup:

amen to the shanties and heaters.......saved our butts today for sure....im guessin it was around -15 below at big lake......set up at 1st in 20 fow off the tip of a small island, put a "leech jig" on and dropped her in.....bounced off the bottom and bam! 27 inch char! i got pics will post them soon.....after 3 more hours of fishing ( we moved once to 40 fow) no one got any more hits.....first time ive ever fished big lake so bonus for me.....the char ate up pretty nice with some herbs.... howd you do?
