Man that's alot of fish released in such a small lake. I am really looking forward to hitting that lake up now that I know about it. Me and some friends are taking off up to Charlie Lake to go ice fishing for some pike and walleye from the 26-28. Now that I know about this lake I figure I might try to tag that on the evening of the 27 and the 28th and get some of those nice bows.

Any info on what is the best way to get to the lake? As in which way will be the clearest and easiest route? Seen maps but would rather have first hand info as that is always great. Thanks
There's always a bigger fish... and I'm going to get it!

Its not a small lake.

Pete Lake = Dragon Lake (right in Quesnel) ---- there are homes all around the lake and all access points are on paved / plowed roads.

Put in at the boat launch ... or my favorite spot is on the east side of the lake at another boat launch on that road leading to a very nice log home...... its easy to see on a map and the vehicles / ice fishermen will give it away .....

Ok I must have looked at the wrong lake then. The Pete lake I found south of Hudson Hope and east of Moberly Lake is stated as aprox 40 ha while Dragon Lake is 225 ha. Which to me is a lot smaller. Am I looking at the right lake here?

Dragon's 225 ha is a heck of a lot bigger than the one up north at 40 ha.

Dragon (Pete's) Lake is renowned for its fly fishing large rainbow trout in the spring after ice through till about mid June and again in the fall to a lesser extent.

Couple links to check the lake out:

Ah I got it now. Never heard of Dragon called Pete's before which makes things a lot clearer. Guess I will have to make a trip down there. Maybe this sunday possibly as my fishing bud will back.

Only by the guys on here.

Most are secretive (myself included) but a lake like Dragon isn't exactly a secret and no big deal to help other fishermen out.
