hardwaterwizard,
I just tried calling Ted Newman at Mack's and ask him if anyone has stopped at his shop to ask if anyone found a Fish Trap and got no answer.  If whomever lost it doesn't visit this site they will more than likely contact Ted and ask him at some point.
Ted's number is 585-237-5983.  Maybe someone else can try calling him later to check.

I'm surprised that the owners name isn't on the shack , unless it's brand new. Most states have the requirement of the owners name and add. on it , don't they? Here in IN they do , and i think IL is the same way. Or do you guys there in the Nor-East do things differently?

Great of you to report it. It could be the person who lost the tent has my personality. i.e. bad day on the ice and out it goes. But I would have put it in the back yard and gave it a VIKING FUNERAL {spelling}
with all my other stuff.............. Funny , my wife still can't figure out why I need to go to the sport store every week.  LOL

Nice to see there are still honest people out there.
I too have had my boat cleaned out one night.

THE hut has been returned to its rightful owner thanks to everyone at ICESHANTY and TED AT MACKS,  now it would be nice to locate the guys auger and tackle, that was stolen from his drive way along with the hut.

Thanks everyone ,but I'd like to think you guys would have done the same. The gentleman and his wife came tonight and picked up the hut, in return they gave me a one year membership to the national wild turkey fed. and tickets to the anual banquet in april. ;) :) :D

Very Nice Hardwater!

Hopefully the guy can get some of his other stuff back, sounds like it was stolen? If so maybe we can all keep a eye out if someone decides to "sell some stuff cheap on the ice"

HardWaterWizard....... ...Your a credit to the sport! I wish it was you who picked up my auger last year. I had one too many sips of brandy and I left it lying along side of my car when I left Long Point last January.

I would like to mention that Hardwaterwizard helped me get out of a ditch a week before.  If it wasn't for him and another nice fellow icefisherman, I would have had a long night and a hefty towing bill.   Thanks again.......
