Anyone use this product in their atv to clean out their carbs. Is it safe? How good does it work?
Thanks in advance

I use it in my boat. It's got a 150 outboard. Stuff works really good. Make sure you follow the directions on the back. Don't use more than what is says or you will have a hard time starting it.

Best stuff since sliced bread.  I mix a whole can of seafoam in a 5 gallon can of gas and use it in everything power, mowers, snowblower, quad, boat and then I put a full can in my Jeep every 5th tank of gas..........  Never have had a problem with using seafoam and it is an excellent cleaner keeping your carbs clean............and acts as a water remover......can't beat it...

Well I used it today....My ATV wasnt running all that bad but I could tell it needed some carb work.....I put in a little les than what was recommended (2 oz:3 gal. gas)  And WOW....What a difference it made in the short time I rode it around.  Now is that stuff safe to let sit in the gas tank and lines or are you supposed to run the tank completely dry?

It is safe to leave in the tank. Only issue I have found with seafoam in my sleds is that they oxidize alot after using the seafoam. Not sure why??

I have it in the tank of every motorized thing that I own. It is great in my pickup. I use it at one ounce per gallon.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

This stuff definitely has my interest, but I've got a few questions. My quad seems to be super sensitive to water in the fuel, and most times needs a half bottle of gas line antifreeze in the tank before it'll stay running. Has anyone tried using it in really cold conditions? There have been a few times this winter where I've used the bike in temps below -30C and it wouldn't run or idle without a huge amount of antifreeze in the tank. Part of the problem is that it lives outside under a tarp, and see's all kinds of temperature swings. I ask because anytime i've used Fuel Injector cleaner in my trucks in the extreme cold, they've simply refused to start. Second question is, does anyone know if it's available in Alberta? Where should I look, places that sell boats and motors? Powersports shops? Do you think that keeping some mixed in my Jerry can at all times would cure the problem, or should I just stick with the anti-freeze? Thanks for the help!

We can get it at a Farm supply store, Walmart. Seems to cost 5-6 bucks.

It works like a fuel stabilizer If I recall and possibly a fuel dryer also not totally sure though.

CMMahy, I used it in my ATV this past weekend in -20 weather.  My ATV ran great. Sea foam acts as a dry gas also.  Mainehazmat as for e-10 I believe it helps it as it is also a stabilizer.  I ran it though my SM lazer after we had E-10 go bad in 1 MONTH!!!  The E-10 tank we filled at the end of November smelled like turpintine and had no remaining signs of oil.

I also use it in everything I own. You should have seen the sludge that came out of my buddies 70's outboard motor after running that stuff thru.

It's labeled to be a product that has many uses. I mostly use it for carb cleaning. It does work, but not on heavily varnished carbs. The sled I bought wasn't taken care of and the carb needs cleaning. I have run a lot of seafoam through it without much help.

I use to be a Sta-Bil user till I found Sea Foam.

When I would clean the carbs on my Yamahas, in the bottom of the bowls the Sta-Bil would almost coagulate.  4 years later not a single problem, I even put a cap of Sea-Foam in the oil reservoir every time I fill up.

Stuff is amazing.

Use it for years in everything.1 oz. to a gal. of gas. Have seen old lawnmowers so carbon up they would hardly run give the a goood shot in the tank and squirt some up their nose and put them to work, after 20 mins. they run like new. THIS STUFF IS SLICKER THAN DUAL CARBS ON A PIGS ASS. :o
