Hahaha yah know what?  I was actually thinking about it.  That or waiting a few days and getting out about 20 sheets of plywood.

Hay! it was strong enough for the geese to walk on and not fall thru.   :o

You need to get those geese set up some with gear and teach them to jig.

Oh the ice.  You know...I just want to see the first couple inches go in good up at the IGL's.  Last few years it has blown out and had a refreeze...hate that.  Looks like Madison Square Gardens...

I wish I was a goose...I'd call in to work...tell them I had to take care of some "bills"....

Pre coffee humor is terrible....

So...you're saying there's a chance? (Loyd Christmas - 'Dumb and Dumber')

"here...take these extra gloves....my hands are getting sweaty"

That would be killer..there is a good pannie bite on that lake at times...

The new DNR fishing report has skim ice on quite a few lakes. That means the conditions are there. Just need to have the wind diw down for a week and I think that we could have some good ice started.

dead calm here in NE Neb.   Very cold...most small lakes should skim over tonight...need to see the highs dip down though...some 40's in the forecast for the 10 day.  Hopefully...the 20's at night will keep a lid on these.  I'm still hopeful for weekend of the 6th for at least some walkable ponds.  That new Polaris needs some run time though...
