Sleeper Rental Millelacs, Mn
« on: Nov 09, 2008, 10:10 AM »
Me and some buddies are thinking of renting a sleeper house on Millelacs this winter, any input on on the resorts would be great.  Thinking about Hunter Winfields, Mac's Twin Bay, or Appeldorns, but I'm open to any others you guys might know about.  Let me know witch ones are good or bad.  Any other input would be great.  Thanks

I have stayed at Appledoorn's a couple of times. They're a better than average resort with great sleepers. I haven't liked the spots we've been on, BUT Mille Lacs has been slow, unless you're planing on bringing a portable and being mobile during the morning and evening. Jumbos liked their spot a little bit, but the eyes were non-existant. Good luck! Don't forget to bring your tip-ups!

10 of us stayed at hunters last winter. we spent 2 nights in a rental house and 2 nights in a 10 man sleeper. both units were very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

See you on the frozen pond.......Mike
