I think I'm done for the season

Went out yesterday on the ice road a little ways with my wifes van ( my 4x4 is in the shop or I would have ventured out further). Rough and slushy ride. Fished for a couple of hours in the blazing sun and managed to get one crayfish and a set of raccoon eyes from my sunglasses
There is still good ice but I have to work the next 5 days and then I am off to Toronto for a week (tropical temps...Oooooh ).
I think the ice will be pretty pooched by the time I get back. So it seems my hardwater season comes to a pretty sad ending. I send my regards to all and look forward to next years festivities.
