Who's ready to go???

Starting to get real excited. 

Anybody else in La Belle Province losing any sleep??  Drilling holes in their backyards??  Racking their brains trying to think up the ultimate ice-fishing gimmick?? ;D ;D ;D

Maybe something 12-steps like, for us addicts:  I am Manny, I live in Mtl.  My main target during the hard-water season is walleyes and saugers and my main stomping grounds is the maritime channel and it's connecting flats from Iles St-Hélène to Boucherville.

Looking forward to meeting and wetting a line with anybody and everybody who would be so inclined ;) ;).  One month, maybe ;D ;D.

Hey Manny,

Getting excited over here too!!!  You gotta PM me as soon as your spots are on!  Gotta to admit, the last few years, I had huge expectations, and well, your spots pretty much exceeded those great expectations everytime!  Looking forward to it again!

I'll also give you a PM when the bite gets on here in Hull/Ottawa.  Hopefully I'll be able to start earlier than last year!

Looking forward to reading your posts and looking at your pics.

Where here joco.... :P Last year it wasn't until late January I think that we were able to get on ice here....and we were off by mid March....not a good ice season at all  :'( :'( :'(....hopefully we'll be able to get out to Walleye / Sauger paradise earlier this year Manny.....and Scummer won't wipe out down the hill  ::) ::) ::)hehehe!!!

I have always wanted to check out that walleye honey hole.

All the gear is packed up and ready to go at this point  :) Gave the vex a charge last night and spooled up a few reels. Anthony should be grabbing a whole crap load of waxies tonight from work as well  ;D Hoping for at least 4''-5'' on Sunday or Monday..........andtue sdayandwed..thurs..fri .... :) Planning for a full week on the ice  :P

Anthony was telling me Nighttroller was getting a bit impatient :roflmao:..Because I don't have the necessary safety gear to head out on ice that thin, Anthony and I are going to wait for at least 5''-6'' like last year...I would feel a bit safer to head out on 4'' if I owned a floater suit...To the guys heading out tomorrow..be safe and good luck  ;) See ya next week :) With all the gear we own, I would not be surprised if we have to leave some of it on shore :o  >:(
