Ice Fishing Spots in Fitchburg Area

Hi I am a new member and I am looking for a little help. I live in Fitchburg and am fairly new to the area. I could use a little help with some decent places to fish this winter. You help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! I actually lived in Clinton before ending up out here. Where do you usually do your local ice digging?

Around town usually South Meadow, but once more ice gets here we usually go to some other places in groups like Barehill.

Gramp, once we get safe ice you might want to check out Whalom.  I've caught Bass, Pickeral, Perch, Rock Bass, and Blue gills.  really good jig action.  Most fish are of average size but I've heard of 5+ pounders being pulled outta there...they also stock trout and Salmon.  Panfish there are some of the bigger I've caught consistently. It's in Leominster by the old Whalom Park
