Last time this year.

When i walked off the ice today it was for the last time this year . with temps going to hit 50 + this week and the bowling tourney this coming weekend i would say this year is over for me . I did have lots of fun fishing with other I.S. members this year . And chatting with others from all over the country. this is still the best site i have ever seen for information and and exchanging ideas . I will see you all next year . good luck & good fishing. Our days are numbered, but at least we have open water fishing to look forward to! I love icefishing, but it doesn't hurt to have some warm weather and boat action every once in a while

I would imagine that this site gets quite during the off season but it does not go away according to some of the dates on the posts.  I will definately be checking in every week just to keep up and stay prepared for next year the same way that I watch the open water forum.  Glad to see you had a good season and I have to afree with you that this is the best site for sharing info and good laughs.

We still have a LOT of ice right here! I'll be looking forward to at least two more weekends of GOOD fishing. I will be looking forward to the upcoming turkey season and soft water fishing but for now I'm locked into this extra long ice season here in mid-Michigan!   8)

As i was putting my ice fishing gear away today hundreds of ducks flew over  headed for the river it was  awesome. cant wait for the fall flight. then back to ice fishing

Not done yet! Eventhough I may be at the very edge of the icebelt with no ice down this way, I am still planning on getting out at least one or two more times. Still some decent ice in the northern part of the state yet. A week of some warm temps I am hoping isn't going to completely destroy everything.  Hoping to get out there this coming weekend to say good-bye.
