Irish Hills
« on: Feb 26, 2008, 10:32 AM »
I was up in the Irish Hills this past weekend and could only catch bass.  I heard that the perch and crapie were hitting but I didn't have a lot of luck with them biting once my fishing buddy stood me up and I finally made it out there alone!  >:(  Anybody else have any luck?  I am heading to the Saginaw bay this weekend.  Hopefully the fish will be hungry near Bayport!

Vinyard good crappie action at dusk to dark, some fair action for gills, and pike are getting more active.  Have not fished much else in the area as of lately.

I was on sand last night and snagged a couple rops, nothing to spectacular but it got me out of the house.
