Findley Lake
« on: Feb 23, 2008, 04:06 PM »
I am thinking of hitting findley lake in the morning I was wondering if the pike fishing is any good there? I am going to jig for panfish which I will probably be able to get into. The map I have shows one access. Is this the only access or is there somewhere i can pull off the road and walk on I want to fish the complete opposite side of the lake from the launch if I have to I will walk it but it would be nice to park closer. Any advice    would be appreciated    thank you

Marcus try the north or east side of the lake (not sure if its east or north). If You had to drive around the lake it would a whole 15Min's. There three picnic tables and the road is on the side of the lake. Had a couple Buddy's go down and park there. They did pretty good with the perch and 1 descent pike. Watch out for the spring feeds, ice get sketchy so I'm told.Good luck
Enjoy it while you got it!
