ahh I see, Ive never made it out on anchor bay. I go off of metro quite often and the 9mile tower area

Not trying to be an arse, but is spearing perch legal in Michigan??  I know you can spear pike, but I have never heard of doing it to perch......

Yes during the months of January and Febuary you can spear Perch ONLY on Lake St. Clair.

Thanks for the info.  Do alot of people use this method for perch?  Seems like it would spook the school every time you nail one!
