Shaker Pond, you can park along side Route 202. Place is filled with perch and I think white bass. My Dad took me there when I was young and we chased flags all day long. I haven't fish there in years. I would also call York County Fish and Game and ask them about Round Pond in Goodwins Mills. (Kids only pond). Another pond I took my kids to is Wadleys Pond also in Goodwins Mills.

I fished it mid-Dec with my son . Non stop flags....good kid / beginner pond. Lots of perch, bass pickerel and crappie. We parked along 202 and walked into the pond. Follow the shore line North till you are parallel to or just north of the small camping area, then head out a couple hundred yards . Not more than 20 feet of water but fish were there.
diagonally parked in a parallel universe

Haven't been out for a few weeks at least - the ice was great last time I was out, was WICKED windy though... had to park on 202  and walk down in.  Met one of the locals that lives there, was wicked nice - did mention that there was a kids derby and they were expecting so many kids that the traps were limited to 2 a piece.  Don't know how much of an impact that may have had -I think it was held a couple weekends ago.

Anyhow good luck when you go out!     Let us know how you do - would be interested in hearing about it!  ;D

Fished there 3 weeks ago with the wife.  We were busy all day.  Can't go wrong just about anywhere out in the middle in 15-20 FOW.  Lots of crappie, bass, perch and pickeral.  Great for action

Fun little pond, I usually hit it once in a while on my way home from work (3rd shift). Catch anything from yellow perch, crappie, pikerel and bass. Bass don't fight very much and sometimes never even trip the flag so I suggest to check your traps frequently especially the non active ones. I usually only set no more than 3 traps because there is pretty good action. Have fun.....
Steve
